Description: AGASTACHE FOENICULUM. This plant grows a bit shorter than the species (about 2 feet) but the striking difference is the golden colored leaves that really get your attention. This plant is a bee plant in that it attracts bees, and other pollinating insects. The fragrance of the flower is wonderful. Anise hyssop has subtle but eye-catching chartreuse foliage. Its powder-blue, long-lasting flowers contrast nicely with its leaves.
Growing Information:
Sow seed in spring. Divide plants in summer. Root semi-ripe cuttings in summer. Some plants may need winter protection. Watch out for Mildew, rust and downy mildew.
