The Dorset Naga is a cultivar of the Naga Jolokia or Bhut Jolokia, which has been recognized by the Guiness Book of World Records as being the hottest pepper on the planet.  With a Scoville heat unit measurement of around 1 million, it replaces the Red Savina with nearly double its heat intensity.  This rating can be more or less depending on climate.  Drier climates with less rainfall will produce hotter peppers.  The Dorset Naga came about through genetic selection in Dorest, England.  Specimens have been tested at 1.6 million Scoville heat units.  We have a limited supply of these seeds.  Warning: Direct consumption of these peppers can be dangerous.  Even handling the seeds can cause irritation.  Each lot contains 5 seeds Growing Information: Plant your seeds at a depth of 1/4" in a well-draining soil mixture.  Keep warm and bright.  After the seedlings have developed a few sets of true leaves, transplant to a location in full sun.  More sun and less water will increase the heat content.  Plants mature in 100 days.
