Description:
This seed variety was given to Kent and Diane (Ott) Whealy in 1972 by her grandfather, Baptist John Ott, who lived on a 40-acre farm near St. Lucas, Iowa. Beautiful deep-purple morning glory flower with a red star at it's middle neck. This is a very hardy flower that grows up to 15 feet in length. This seed self sows every year.
Growing Instructions:
Plant into a fine soil about 1/4 inch deep. We recommend soil with compost. This seed grows in the mid-summer to fall. Soak seed for 24 hours before planting.
