Flowers: Pink to lavender, about 1" wide; bloom April to August. Blossoms last for about five days.

Found: Throughout Arizona. Normally at well drained deserts and slopes. There are 10 species of Mammilaria in Arizona.

Habitat: Desert well drained slopes and flats, rocky bajadas. Usually under the shade protection of another plant, such as a bush.
Growing Information:
Growing Mammillaria Grahamii is fairly simple as it requires little water however it needs adaquate drainage. M. Grahamii is cold hardy, meaning it can take cold weather however not immune to frost. Happy growing!
